Magners League contenders Cardiff Blues launched their first home game of the season at their brand new Cardiff City Stadium with the help of a sales promotion deal with Queens Arcade.

Our new strategy for Queens Arcade's is designed to reach the vibrant 18-35 year old market in Cardiff and it got off to a fantastic start in partnership with the Cardiff Blues. By opening up the centre's valuable 14million plus footfall to popular leisure venues around the city via promotional partnerships, we are confident that we can develop an active and sociable lifestyle image that will boost its profile amid the launch of St David's 2 (the largest shopping centre to be launched in the UK in 2009).

By incorporating radio airtime, social networking opportunities and on mall activities we have been able to develop exclusive sales promotion offers with a number of restaurants, nightclubs and sports teams in Cardiff at a time when customer loyalty is key. Cardiff Blues were the first to grab the opportunity by offering a by one get one free ticket voucher to all shoppers spending £10 or more in Queens Arcade.

The next venue to take advantage of this strategy will be Hard Rock Cafe who will be offering free cocktails to anyone who spends £10 or more in Queens Arcade. Hic.
