We are delighted that King Sturge and 'old friend' Queens Arcade have decided to use our B2C expertise as well as continuing to use us as their retained B2B agency.
It is a welcome return to the B2C side as we enjoyed great success and satisfaction last year with our 'Face of Cardiff' campaign celebrating Queens Arcade's £2.5million refurbishment and we are delighted that we will be working with them once again.
This time we have created what we believe is a campaign that will be able to stimulate interest, visits and cross-promotional opportunities across the entire PR and marketing spectrum, while creating long-term co-promotional partnerships across Cardiff's leisure sector. It is our belief that these will provide the best possible return on investment for our client, while ensuring our message is not drowned out by the inevitable major marketing campaign that will accompany the relaunch of St David's.
We start this month by revamping the Queens Arcade website, adding a whole host of new features, including a new CMS system that lets us update news and gigs as they happen. We have also launched a Queens Arcade Facebook fan site and using both these tools, plus a new suite of partnership marketing opportunities that we will roll out later in the campaign, have launched our first co-promotion with the Cardiff Blues. We look forward to the successful completion of this first event and to the continued response to our surprise U2 tickets special offer which was an added bonus from a generous tenant.
As for the other 'old friends' of the title, at the Harvey Centre in Harlow we were delighted to be able to welcome some surprise special guests from Paradise Wildlife Park, which is sponsored by the Centre. As a last hurrah before the kids returned to school the Centre hosted a meet and greet with some feathered, furry and smooth but scaly guests to the delight of families doing their back to school shopping. We expect to be over-run by the wild and wonderful over the next few months but it seems that our cuddly and not so cuddly friends from the Park are always a draw to the Centre. We look forward to Hallowe'en and Christmas especially!
